We invite you to submit comments on two draft white papers from the Population-Based Payment (PBP) Work Group no later than next Monday, March 7. Please also register for three new webinars and submit your comments on a draft white paper from the Clinical Episode Payment (CEP) Work Group. Your input is vitally important for improving the white papers. Details about how to submit comments and how to register for the upcoming webinars are listed below.
Comment Period Closes for Patient Attribution and Financial Benchmarking

The public comment period for two draft white papers released by the PBP Work Group closes on Monday, March 7. This is a friendly reminder to please submit your input on the patient attribution and financial benchmarking white papers, as well as any of the diagrams, flowcharts, and tables used to illustrate key concepts. LAN Learnings Webinar: Alternative Payment Models for Behavioral Health

Panelists from LAN Committed Partners include Deb Adler of Optum describing the Achievements in Clinical Excellence program that rewards providers for collaboration, better patient outcomes, and improved cost efficiencies, as well as Henry Chung of Montefiore describing this health system’s progress in moving to value-based payment.
Comment Period for Elective Joint Replacement is Now Open
The public comment period for the draft white paper on episode payment for elective joint replacement opened on Friday, February 26. The paper provides recommendations for how to design patient-centered episode payment for elective hip and knee replacement. The CEP Work Group invites your feedback and input through Monday, March 28 via an online discussion forum on Handshake, comments submitted directly on the LAN website, and by email at PaymentNetwork@MITRE.org
LAN Listening Session for States: Preliminary Recommendations on Elective Joint Replacement
